Report Manager allows you to distribute Crystal and Excel reports to your users from a central directory structure. You can be sure that all the users are accessing the correct versions of the reports without being able to change the report designs.
You can define a user-friendly tree structure for your reports simply by dragging and dropping report files or folders. You decide what each branch is called and which reports it contains.
You can define unlimited servers, databases, schemas and roles; each with a
separate login and password if necessary. A single report file can be linked to
multiple database connections. A single user can be linked to multiple
connection 'roles'. No longer do you need to give out multiple passwords to
allow users to run their reports.
Report Manager can run as a standalone application for general users. For
finance users it can also be integrated closely with your finance system and
accessed directly from a menu item or shortcut key. If integrated, Report
Manager automatically passes your User ID and password across so that you don’t
have to log in again.
