The seminar took place at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel, Solihull on Wednesday March 12th. Despite the weather, road closures etc. all seats were filled and the day went well. Most people present were able to get some hands-on experience of using Reporting Services against the test database. The reports covered included examples of simple transaction reports, aging reports and more complex balance based reports. The examples included dynamic parameters, dynamic defaults and linking reports together for 'drill-down' functionality.
The delegates went away with sample SQL scripts and sample report designs (rdl files).
