Our latest software is designed to make scanning and attaching documents a simple and straightforward process.
The application allows the user to configure and control a scanner, allowing them to scan a batch of single-sided or double-sided multiple page documents. The software can be configured to check for bar-codes on the documents and to compare the bar-codes with entries in the financial database.
When a batch of documents has been scanned the user is presented with a tree representing the scanned pages, separated into nodes with one node per recognised Document Number and child nodes representing each page. If a bar code has been missed or misread, or blank or unwanted pages scanned, these problems can be resolved with ease. If the batch includes portrait and landscape images each image can be rotated independently before the batch is saved.
When the user is happy with the batch all the multi-page documents can be saved with a single click of the mouse. The documents are saved as multi-page tiff files (one file per document) and then attached in the financial database.
The system is designed to work with any TWAIN compatible device and every major type of barcode. We can also assist with the automatic printing of barcode labels either automatically one at a time as you post, or as a batch job.
